Look at Crunchyrolls partnership with Sumitomo Corporation.
So some of my regular readers know that I am in fact a Crunchyroll member I pay my $60 a year so that I can watch as much HD ad free anime as I want. I would say what Crunchyroll is doing is good for the anime industry as a whole, but on a smaller scale has led to some pretty terrible anime being produced.

So I have noticed recently since Fall Semester ended I have been watching more anime, but I didn’t realize how bad it had gotten until tonight. I looked at my Crunchyroll history… I have finished 9 animes in the last 3 weeks ( I work full time and sleep…sometimes) so this is pretty amazing to me!

So I know I will probably get a lot of hate for this since it seems like everyone and their mother love SAO. I just don’t, (sorry) the first 12 episodes are this amazing wonderland of exploring a world I know nothing about, meeting interesting characters, fighting scary monsters, and overall excitement. That gets followed up by some Tsundere living in a cottage bullshit.
